Rapitype inc.

以下、vads.ac.uk から引用。
Rapitype, the dry transfer rival to Letraset, has received a massive £200 000 injection from Small Business Capital Fund for expansion into the commercial market. Unlike Letraset and other systems which are produced by a silk screen process, Rapitype is totally photographic. This gives it the speed to do specials at short notice, whereas silk screening must be geared up for long single runs leading to long delivery times. Tony Crook, a director of Graphic Systems which produces Rapitype, told DESIGN that delivery time for tailor-made type faces was seven days at the moment but that the aim was to have a 'while you wait' service. Other advantages claimed for the system are its resistance to breaking up under heat and abrasion and the greater stability of the sheet which does not buckle after transfer.
