シンプルであるが、ところどころ斜めに施されたカットがエッジーな印象を与える「オセロ」。 M, N, Y などの形状が小文字になっているのも特徴。 ベースは1886年に Central Type Foundry よりリリースされた Othello である。
2010年、Velvet という名前でデジタル化されたが、微妙に形状が異なる。 また Monotype 社の Othello (by Rudolf Koch in 1928) とは別物である。
